He served in the Air Force from 1978 to 1988, and the Marine Corps from 1988 to 2001. M.Carey  served with 3d Battalion, 9th Marines during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He also served with 3d Marine Aircraft Wing as a contractor in the role of their Budget Officer for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He presently serves the men and women in uniform as a Financial Management Analyst for the Joint Task Force, National Capital Region Medical Center.

Our family is very proud to have someone who is serving our county. We thank him for his commitment to our safety and freedom.
