Edward and Margaret could read and write. Edward went to school for 4 years. Edward was a Coal Miner. They were married for 12 years per the census in 1900. He was in a wheelchair before he died. It has been told he had back problems. Margaret took in wash to help support the family. It appears Margaret became a baker at a later date.

"FYI...Margaret Brown was a baker. Hence the importance of her mixing bowls. Pop Connors would tell us that he would try to exchange his homemade cupcakes at school for store bought ones, cause he never got store bought ones. "

Edward's name is not showing just his age. 41 Margaret is not showing either and there is two child's name not showing. The census paper is ripped at the name part.It is showing a child working as doorboy in 1910 Cenus and one at home would believe Margaret at home and Martin as the doorboy.

Margaret and Edward are buried in the Coal Regions. Margaret the daughter and the baby is buried with Margaret.

Several of the brothers changed the spelling of the name.

John was a painter. He was married to a German girl and had a son. His son fought on the German side during War World II.

Story goes, John took off when young and the family didn't hear from him for ten years. The brothers track him down though his paintings which became very popular. They all got together and got into an arguement and didn't hear from him again.

Kathryn Connors was married to a Warren Geroge. had two children a boy, name Warren and a girl Martha. Warren did not married. Martha had a son Warren who died of lukemia around 21 years of age, and a daughter named Kathy or Kathryn. They lived in New Jersey next to New York City.

I know there is a Patricia as one of the daughters of the sons believe she was Earls daughter.. She married a man from another county , believe to be Scottish, who worked on a cruise line. James had two daughers. Thomas , also had a son who was young. Named Tommy. Either Tommy was married twice or started his family later. There is also a Paul Connor who had a sister Kathryn but do not know who or how he fits, believe he was Martin son.

Edward Connor is showing on non fatal injury on Nov 13 1901 in Consolidated on Coal Miner accidents. Is this our Edward ? Is this what caused his back injury? What mine did it happen???

Margie Connors would recall her grandmother, putting in her diamond earrings. She always wore them. They were very small. They were given to her by her husband on their first aniversary. Margaret said she was very much a lady and had very little gray hair., even when she died.
