This is Samuel's second marriage.

Samuel and Sarah had no children together.

Most Family Tree's only include the direct line of Mengel's. Sarah does not have bloodline to the family tree. 

I have chosen to include  Sarah's and her daughter as our family.   Sarah is an extended part of the Mengel Family. not having any Mengel children, she is only related by marriage.  Even though,  there is no blood relationship to the Mengel's,  Sarah and her daughter will always be consider family.

She was known to the family as grandmom or great-grandmom.

Samuel was widowed at age 55 and remarried Sarah L. Blatt. at age 59. Daughter of Nathaniel and Mary (Reber ) Blatt, born in 1895 and died in 1983. They were married in Schuylkill county, Pa

I do not have the marriage record at this time. It is listed as above on  the Sckuylkill County site.

Samuel worked for the Reading Railroad as a Electrical Engineer. He was a very refined man. Hair color believed to be blonde . Height unknown. Eye color unknown.

Sarah had a daughter before she married Samuel. Samuel helped raise her since age 13 years old.

She was a very wonderful great-grandmother. She always had something kind to say, she never would  say anything negative and always had time for you. She was an excellent sewer. She worked all of her life mostly in the sewing profession.  She would always supplied us with underwear as a child and Jack and Jill magazines. To the family she was known as a very loving greatgrandmom. She was a stickler on making sure you have the light on, so you would not ruin your eyes.  Upon visiting her one day she said the doctor gave her some news and she had to make a decision. She was told, that she would be turning, into a vegetable. She could not decide on what vegetable she wanted to be, a potato or a turnip. 

Sarah's Daughter did not have any children.

Her Daughter name is E. Becker and she married Edward Weaver.

Her Daughter is known as a very loving Aunt to the Family.
