GIRARDVILLE MEN WAS FOUND DEAD IN BED
	Anthony J. Carey, of Girardville, for thirty five years a representative of Prudentail Insurance Company and one of the best known insurance men in the region was found dead in bed at 6:30 o'clock this morning by his daughter, Mrs. Dominick Monaghan. He retired last night in his usual good health and did not complain of an illiness. At 2:20 o'clock this morning a son went to his room and found him sleeping soundly. Death was due to a stroke of paralyss. Mr. Carey was born in Ireland but came to this county when quite young. He resided at Lost Creek for a number of years where he was employed about the mines. He earlier took up the insurance business and located at Girardville. He was a kind and affable man and by his strict attention to his duties and able business ability built up an excellant business. He stood high in the community and was active in St. Joseph's Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was well known in town and when the news of his death was made known expressions of regret were made on all sides. Mr. Carey is survived by the following adult children, Mrs. James Fullen, Mrs John Grady, Mrs. Dominick Monaghan, Girardville, Mrs Edward Connors, Ashland, John Prof , M.. J. the well known musician; William, a student at Temple University, Philiadelphia, Anthony and Edward of Girardville, and Anna a teacher in the public schools in Girardville. He further is suvived by brothers Micheal and Edward of Girardville; John and William of Lost Creek;; sisters Mrs. John Monaghan, Girardville: Mrs Micheal Hanley and Miss Annie Carey of Lost Creek.
